We organized a Mini Lok Mela (Folk Festival) where children experienced the richness of Pakistan’s diverse regions. Kids dressed in traditional outfits representing Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan. They enjoyed regional music, folk dances, crafts, and food tasting in a vibrant setting. The event fostered respect and pride for cultural diversity and helped children understand the beauty of unity in Pakistan’s traditions.
Traditional Crafts & Handicrafts Workshop
Children took part in a Traditional Crafts Workshop where they learned basic techniques of truck art, mirror work, clay modeling, and block printing. Volunteers guided them through hands-on sessions, explaining the cultural significance of each craft. The activity aimed to revive appreciation for indigenous art while developing creativity and motor skills in children. It also gave them a sense of connection to their roots in a fun and interactive way.
